We are seeking a Senior SDET / System Test Engineer to support enterprise financial applications operating in an AWS-based ETL environment. This role is focused on system-level and integration testing, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and readiness for downstream financial models.
Qualifications
- Strong programming experience in Java with solid OOP fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, Postman
- Experience testing REST APIs and backend services
- CI/CD experience using Jenkins and build tools (Maven/Nexus)
- AWS experience (S3, Lambda, EC2, Step Functions, SNS/SQS)
- Database and version control experience (Postgres/DynamoDB, Git-based tools)
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks (BDD, Data-Driven, POM)
- Develop automation for web, API, SOA, ETL, and backend applications
- Execute regression, smoke, sanity, positive, negative, and database tests
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers to identify testing gaps and solutions
- Document test strategies, results, and system behavior
